When you visit
The page code adds no advertising trackers, analytics or browser storage. Fonts are served with the website. ChatGPT Sites and its hosting infrastructure process technical connection data, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the page. Their service and security records are handled under the provider privacy terms linked below.
When you send an enquiry
When you use the form, it sends your name, email, task description, chosen reply language and any optional details about frequency, current process and desired improvements to Formspree. Formspree stores the submission in its dashboard and forwards an email to hello@benchandpaper.com. Direct emails are handled in the same business mailbox. I use these details to assess your request, reply and discuss a possible pilot. Your name, email and task description are required for the form; the other fields are optional. You can also contact me directly by email or phone.
For someone enquiring about their own potential contract, the basis is taking steps at their request before a contract. For someone representing a business, it is my legitimate interest in answering that business enquiry. Service and security processing also supports legitimate interests in running and protecting the website. I do not add enquiries to a marketing list or send their contents to AI tools automatically.
Who helps deliver the service
The website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. Formspree handles and stores form submissions; Namecheap Private Email provides the business inbox. These providers process the information needed to perform their respective services, with their own account and security processing described in their policies. Stripe is the intended payment provider, but live payments are not enabled. When payments open, payment information will be entered on Stripe-hosted pages; this enquiry form does not collect card details.

Processing outside the EEA
Some providers process information outside the European Economic Area. Formspree states that its service is hosted in the United States and that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a processor. Namecheap’s data-processing terms include these clauses where applicable; OpenAI’s Europe privacy policy describes its use of adequacy decisions and contractual safeguards. Examples used in a paid pilot
Sending an enquiry does not authorise uploading your business documents to AI tools. Before a paid pilot, we agree the tools, authorised examples, access and deletion plan separately. Use anonymised or synthetic examples where possible. The enquiry form has no file upload. Only provide information you are entitled to share.
How long information is kept
Enquiries that do not become a project are kept for up to 90 days after the last substantive exchange, then removed from the working inbox and form dashboard. If a pilot is agreed, relevant correspondence is kept for the engagement and any period needed for contractual or legal obligations. Working examples are removed within 30 days after the pilot is accepted unless we agree a different support period. Records needed for tax, accounting or a legal claim are kept for the applicable legal period. Providers may retain security logs and backup copies under their own retention practices. These are operating rules; deletion is not automatically performed by this page.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the processing and legal basis, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Email hello@benchandpaper.com or use the correspondence address above. I may need proportionate information to verify a request. You can also complain to Portugal’s data protection authority, CNPD. The enquiry form does not make automated decisions about you.
